PUPIL APPLICATIONS: STIRLING HIGH
At present it is illegal for staff to work from school or to physically accept applications.
We receive over 1000 applications each year and every document requested is required to complete the process. Unfortunately, unless documents are physically checked at receipt, a significant number are incomplete and therefore not valid.
We would like to assure you that as soon as our Administrative staff may legally return to work, we will notify you on our facebook page and website that we are open for applications. Please keep an eye on these sites from Wednesday next week.
Please be assured that we will be open for applications for at least two weeks once we resume our duties at school and every single application that comes in during this two week period will be considered.
When you come in to drop your applications, we will not be able to discuss each application with you, we will merely be checking that they contain all relevant information. (You are welcome to add a covering letter if necessary.) Please adhere to strict social distancing in the school parking lot, campus and foyer area. You will not be allowed onto the premises without a mask covering your nose and mouth. Please move quickly and let us complete this process as efficiently as possible.
I would like to repeat that there is no need to worry about not having been able to deliver your applications, as we have extended the due date to at least Friday 29nd May 2020. We will notify you on our facebook page if there is a further extension.
